It started out a good Preparation day....

Okay, so I already wrote pretty much every day already once. On Saturday Night, I left my keyboard on when closing my Ipad and it was typing at the lock screen. The problem with that is when you try the code 6 times in a row, the Ipad resets itself. So I lost everything, every referral that i have every gotten, a ton of info for the area. And of course the letter that I already wrote. So yeah. Fun Stuff.
Tuesday: We went to the Family Fun Center with Nate and Elizabeth, and her brother Tyler. It was by far the most fun I have had on a P-day. The center was alright, but it was just spending time with them that made it super fun! I would totally hang out with them even if I wasn't on my mission. We had dinner with Tom afterwards, with some other missionaries there as well.
(Okay, I'm going to forget a lot, because I don't have my journal with me, also my planner is not downloaded, so I can't look back and see what we did that day, but something really cool? I'm writing this on top of a mountain! "I'm on top of the world eh, I'm on top of the world eh!")
Wednesday: District meeting was alright, not as good as it usually is. But good none the less. We taught people and stuff. Oh! We had a 2 hour and 15 min lesson with John, pretty crazy. or was that last week... Oh no, that was this week. We finally got to teach half of the restoration with him, Elder and Sister Evertsen were with us when we were there and were able to answer a lot of his questions, that was super good.
Thursday: Weeding in the morning, then we had lunch with the Knights :) She is my second Mom, we are like bestest friends! Haha, we have just talked about a lot of things, also have been really involved in their lives, so now we just love each other. We have proposed that I marry her daughter, so that we can be real family haha. We had a s good lesson with Alex, we were going to set a date for him to be baptized, but he kinda seems lost in everything. We did ask him if he wanted to follow the example of Christ and be baptized by someone holding the priesthood authority of God. He answered that he wants to be truly converted before he gets baptized. We told him by the 26th we know that he would be, however, he didn't seem to sure of it. A big problem of his, is that he hangs out with a lot of not good examples of Mormons. "Jack" Mormons as they call them here. Where they are baptized, but not converted.
Friday: Elder Buckley and I got in a fight because he wouldn't wake up, so I did weekly planning by myself. That made me realize how much easier things are when you do it alone. I guess I just don't work well with others. I just like to do everything myself. I need to trust more in people. The rest of the day went well. We got to get along with each other again, and had no problem ever since.
Saturday: I don't remember Saturdays very well for some reason. But I am sure we knocked on lots of doors and had lessons fall through. Just like everyday! Haha
Sunday: We spoke in one of the Sacraments about baptism and conformation. Speaking is so easy now. I'm probably not a very good one. I make people laugh, but I mess up sometimes. haha, but when I say it is easy, that just means that I am comfortable doing it, I'm not really nervous or anything. We were super busy, we were constantly doing things. We are helping Norman go to the temple. We went to the Dee Event Center and listened to Elder Uchtdorf... Is that spelt right? talk. He talked about the Pioneers and how we need to stop complaining. Pretty much. Haha. I was super close to him though! However, he didn't let anyone shake his hand afterward :(
Monday: Can I even remember what happened yesterday? hmmm... Talked about getting Sister Knight to the Temple. I hope she goes soon :( Had dinner with Robi and Mike Mandell. Went to Crown Burger! Yummy Gryo! :) Actually picked up a lesson! Super Sick! That is hard to do! Then had a really good lesson with Cody, we talked about the gospel, then we played ping pong doubles. Cody and I won against Buckley and Tyler. Cody lives with the Stake President, so I talked with him after about deep doctrine. It is like my favorite thing to do, then had super super good cake. Which I am going to get the Recipe from sister Lamb, I'll send it home so you guys can try it. SOOOOO GOOD! :)

Well now I am on top of a mountain. Utah is beautiful, just in it's own way. It is really nice temp up here, about 75 with a breeze :) Love it.
Looking forward to tomorrow, going to the temple with Tom, and Elder Simpson is going to come down as well :)

There is no such thing as a perfect lesson, however, that one had to be pretty dang close.

Tuesday: We had planned on going ice skating with our District
Leader's investigator with them. However, that was rescheduled for
next week. We played some more games with the Knight's family. After
P-day, we had a lesson fall through with a Potential Investigator
named Alex, he went up to Zion's Camp, which is kind of like a youth
conference here. He felt the spirit so strongly, we heard that after
the speakers talked, he would go up and talk with them afterwards. At
the final testimony meeting he went up there and said that he didn't
have a testimony, however he wanted one, and he wanted to read the
Book of Mormon. So we tried to get a lesson with him. Not today
unfortunately.
Wednesday: We had District Meeting, and it was concerning using
filler words, such as, Ummm, and..., but... So.... Super cool.... I
use super cool quite often. So we all had to role play in front of the
Zone, and whenever, we said a filler word, they would yell it at us
haha. I am proud to say, I had nobody yell at me :) haha. In the
evening, we tried to do family history with the Greenwoods, that key
word is "try". We had no idea what we were doing. I also learned that
my family history has been done all the way back to the 1500s... It's
going to be difficult.
Thursday: I had the best lesson so far on my mission! So we are
working with a less active named Cody, and he has been studying things
of the church for a really long time. Like he knows probably about as
much as me. Knowledge wise anyways. He just wants a testimony. The
spirit was super strong with me during that lesson, and told me to ask
certain questions. Those questions were soo powerful. Also, the spirit
told me to invite him to kneel down with us and pray to know if the
BOM was true, right then and there. He accepted, and he prayed. He
felt the spirit strongly testifying to him. He shed a few tears. :) It
was so awesome. There are no such things as perfect lessons, however,
that one had to be pretty dang close :)
Friday: We as a zone helped someone with yard work, it was pretty
fun, they had apple trees that we had to pluck some, so other's would
grow better. So what do we do with the discarded apples? Shoot baskets
and throw them at each other! You know... Missionary life. After
service we tried to make contacts, however, most people don't like to
talk to missionaries for the 4th of July I guess. We did go and visit
a referral that we got, Jesse. He has been attending church with his
active girlfriend (They are late 40's) We had heard word that he went
up to the bishop and he asked if he could get the priesthood. The
Bishop in response say, "Well you got to first be baptized!". So that
is why we are here! Haha, Golden! We just met with him and it was
pretty warm, he seems interested.
Oh yes! Also, that door that you people keep taking pictures of... we
never use that door. So when I was riding by in front of the house, I
was like, "What are all those colored notes on that door!" Haha, so we
went up, come to find it is the Smith's! Thanks!

Because it is the 4th of July, we had to be in our apartments at
7:00. Pretty crazy, So Buckley and I just played Board Games :) haha.
   Sunday: Fast and Testimony Meeting!
Funniest Testimony: "I would like to bear my testimony by cleaning up
messes that I make at church... (Everyone in the congregation laughs)
*giggle* That was funny..."
Monday: We had Zone Conference, which was super sick! (Yes I used
Super Sick again. lol) Got to see Elder Berg again. Asked him if I
could be Trainer next transfer, he said, "We'll see what we can do"
lol. I miss Elder Berg! He was so fun to serve with. However he is
dying this transfer.
Tuesday: Oh, so this morning, Elder Buckley would not get up from bed.
(He thinks it is fine to sleep in on P-day's) I told him, "If you get
up now, I'll make you breakfast!" He didn't get up. So I got a pitcher
of water, and went over to his bed and said, "You may want to get up
now." He saw it, but he still didn't get up. So I poured a little on
his head. "You sure you don't want to get up?" So I ended up pouring
two pitchers on him. He just laid sopping wet for like 10 minutes.
I can say that I have been wanting to do that all my life, he took
it well. He didn't get angry or anything, I am super impressed with
that. Hopefully he will wake up on time now?

July 1, 2014

Tuesday: We played games with the Knight's family. We played
Bananagrams, I'm not sure if you know that game, I'm sure you do, but
it is like a scrabble game, however can use all their tiles first in
words wins. I won 3 out of 4 times :) Good job training me Mom! Haha.
So we pretty much played games and shopped. Had dinner with Robi.
After P-day we went to our senior couple's house because they got
themselves a hold of the stake mission plan, which we have been trying
to get ever since I got in this area. So we went over that together.
So nice to know the Stake plan... Haha.
Wednesday: We had district meeting. So everyone in the mission is
supposed to do a lot more role playing. So we did quite a bit of that.
Before role playing, I'm always thinking, "Dang it, I hate role
playing" but after role playing, I'm thinking, "Dang, I love role
playing!" It really is the most effective way to improve on teaching
skills :)
We had almost all of our lessons go through, 3 out of 4 :) We are
trying to help a senior couple try to get to the temple, and we told
them that they should do some family history, so that they can take
names of their ancestors to the temple. Well I kinda felt bad
extending that invitation when I, myself have never done that. SO I
promised them that I would do it with them :) I was pretty excited
about it! haha, feeling so good about family history work after that
lesson, we went to Tom's lesson, and invited them to do family history
as well, we are going to go do that with them on Wednesday next week.
It will be super fun to do it with them :) Grandma Peden would be so
proud of me :P haha. Once I got to our place we went on exchanges. I
went with our DL Elder Knudson. He is really cool, he reminds me of
Bro. Pett on how he smiles ALL THE TIME! haha
Thursday: I spent the day out of my area in Elder Knudson's area, he
is district leader so we did companion study with the Sister's in our
District which was really fun. Sister Katich and Shreeve are the best!
After that we had to go to District Leader Training, that was actually
a lot more fun than I thought it would be. We talked about trying to
get rid of filler words. And everyone in our zone, says, "Super
cool..." as a filler when talking including me. So when doing the role
play, if we ever used a filler word such as that, or "soo...", or
"Umm...". Everyone spectating would repeat that word and yell it at
them haha. Now it is a joke even outside of role play.
After DLT we had some really good visit's, no lessons, but good
visits :) I always like going to someone else's area because I don't
have to do anything... haha, I just follow them haha.
Friday: Back in my own area.  We had zone study in the morning,
setting goals for the new month. Last Month we had a goal of 6, but we
only got 2 :( Dang agency! But for July our goal is 2. We will get
that! If it is the last thing that we do! haha. We also did weekly
planning. There is a carnival happening in our area so we went to
that, and we got a lot of contacts going there, it was nice! haha,
also every booth and food place was offering to give us free stuff.
It's so hard to be a missionary in Utah. I got some essential oil that
is supposedly makes me more happy. Haha, hopefully I don't get
addicted!
Saturday: After our studies, we went back to the carnival, did some
more contacting and we really got some potential people that are
really interested in going to church and whatnot, unfortunately not in
our area, but it feels really good giving other missionaries referrals
:)
We had a really good lesson with Gloria, whom is a investigator, we
set a date for her to be baptized the 26th of July. We are really
hoping that we will be able to do it!
Sunday: A lot of investigators came to church :) That made us very
happy. For dinner we ate with a Recent Convert , Norman Chuckwubba,
and they fed us Nigerian food... Gizzards, Chicken Hearts, Tripe (Cow
Stomach). Called peppered soup. It was actually pretty good :) That's
what the picture is. At the end of the day, we went on exchanges with
DL again. I went with Elder Child into his area.
Monday: I had a lot of fun serving with Elder Child for the day, one
of the most memorable experiences will be that we were trying to
figure out what kind of fruit trees they are. (There are a ton of
fruit trees all around here) So first one we tried to guess, it was a
huge tree, and we plucked off two fruit, and they are completely
green, not ripe at all, Child smashes his, and you can't really tell
what it is, I cut mine, and still can't really tell, kinda looks like
an apple, so I take a bite out of it. He asks, "What's it taste like",
"plant". It was gross. Later, there was another tree, looked like
cherry tree to me, but Elder Child takes one down and bites it, I
asked, "What's it taste like?" His response, "Plant." We busted out
laughing.
We didn't have much success, we knocked on a lot of doors, many
slammed, but it was a good day :)

June 24, 2104

Well I am sure that you already know... I loved that yucky weather. It felt so good after all of those hot days we've been having! Dang, seems like you had a really fun week! Carter is so funny! I probably was riding my bike at the same time you were! Crazy!!! Yeah, it is hard to believe it has been 5 months already! That text was from the member haha, but she asked me what to say lol. That stump sure was difficult to say the least. She didn't mean to plant it, it just grew there, and she didn't stop it. haha. Pray for Johnny to stop smoking!! Haha
My companionship with Buckley is going well.
Things I have learned about Elder Buckley:
- From Mesa Arizona. It's hot there. So when ever I complain about the heat here, he is just alright haha.
-He swam... a lot. That is all he did at home pretty much. He is going to shoot for the Olympics!
-When 14 he had brain surgery to remove some of his brain, because he was constantly having seizures. He suffers from brain damage, but not to badly. Just has a  hard time memorizing things and whatnot.
-He loves playing board games :)
-He has a girl on a mission, that they want to date after.
That's all I can think of right now. He is a good companion. Sometimes I get annoyed at him, but not to bad. haha.
Tuesday: Played Smash up. Absolutely love that game :) haha. We also played "Chair Soccer" as a zone. Then of course shopping, we just rode our bikes to Walmart, I have no problem doing that, I'm just that kind of guy. Elder Buckley however, wasn't so happy about riding home with groceries on his bike. I even carried half his groceries! Haha, but I do see how he doesn't like to, I mean, any sane person wouldn't want to ride with groceries on a bike lol.

Wednesday: We had District Meeting in the Morning, they announced that everyone will be doing the 12 Week Program. (It is a program that we do as training, as soon as we get on our missions... Nobody really likes it) Everyone was so excited about it... not really haha. Elder Buckley and I were though! I never did it as training, so might as well do it now! A big reason why a lot of people don't like it, is because it includes a lot of role playing. So now on for 12 weeks, we take an additional hour of study in the morning to do that.
After District Meeting, we got to go on exchanges with an AP. I really wish we were able to get my daddy, Elder Berg. But since he knows us both super well, he isn't supposed to :( We got Elder Young, whom is still super cool. We only had one lesson though. Usually they ask us to get as many lessons we can when we have them, so they can evaluate our teaching skills. We failed... 1 lesson. haha. It was really fun having him with us though :)
Thursday: Not too exciting. We tried to do a lot of Contacting. Not many people answered their doors. Lessons fell through. I really don't understand how it is so often that people cancel with us. However, we did knock on our investigator, John .... I don't know if I have talked about him yet to you. He is an older gentleman, probably late 60's. He is very knowledgeable in religion and has many doctrinal questions. Most of them aren't really important, like why can't we drink wine if Jesus did. He is progressing though, he is reading The Book of Mormon. :) He did say, "I am never ever ever getting baptized!" the first time Simpson and I met with him. Last lesson though, he was telling Elder Buckley, "It is very very unlikely that I would be baptized." Ohhhhh! Improvement! Hahaha, that made me soo happy.
Friday: 2/2 of our lessons fell through again. Yay. We stopped by our Investigator Johnny, whom has trouble with smoking and drinking. He drank a lot the night before. :( We really don't don't know what to do with him. He is not progressing, but his wife is. We really just want to drop him, but that's not fair to Julianna, his wife. He says if she gets baptized and not him, he will get a divorce, because he says that she will be clean, and he won't be, so she won't want him. Which is totally  true, more like just an excuse. So I don't know. We did get really good contacts though, found some potential.
Saturday: I can't even remember what happened. I must have drank to much.
Sunday: So many meetings, we were biking place in the hot sun to place after every hour. On top of that, we were fasting. So I was pretty dang tired before dinner. When I got to dinner, I drank three big glasses of water straight off. I was thirsty needless to say haha. Had a super good lesson with a less active family. We got them to agree that they need to work towards the temple :)
Monday: We had to get a new update on our Ipads, which deleted everything in the gospel library, so we had to download everything again. It took a really long time. Like 4 hours in total. It was not very fun, except during the update itself, we just played basketball while it updated for an hour. That was pretty fun haha.
We had dinner with faithful parents, however their son whom is 17 is dating a non-member, and he went anti-Mormon. Whom before the girl was so strong in the gospel, and so set on going on a mission. So crazy how much influence girls have on guys. That's why we need a good girl for positive influence. They have a date to be married. So I gave the parents an article in Ensign, that talks about wayward children. I read it the week before, thought it would be perfect to help them. It is so sad :(
All in all, good week!
Hope you have another fun week!
Love,
Elder Wrathall

June 17th 2014

Well here is the week!

Tuesday: Consisted of helping Elder Pape pack, which took 5 hours... He had a lot of stuff, so I took a nap during that, the good thing was that he gave me a lot of free stuff as payment of my time lol. I had one of those storage tubs full of free stuff. Which ranged from black rice to a RC Car. lol. Then the rest of the day we went and did visits for Pape and Simpson to say goodbye to people.

Wednesday: Transfer day!!! I hate transfer day.... haha, nothing ever goes according to plan. So Simpson needed to be at the transfer point at 8:30, Elder Buckley wasn't going to be at the transfer point till 11:30. So Said goodbye to Simpson :( and hitched a ride to the mission office. We were getting 10 new missionaries in the area so I wanted to see that because it is pretty fun to watch them get their "daddy". I saw a lot of MTC friends there as well. After that I headed back to the transfer point. Just read scriptures and did some planning for when we get back to our area. Elder Buckley didn't show up until 1:30... long wait. We did play chair soccer twice. (Everyone has a chair that has two lives, when it get hits by the soccer ball, it loses a life, once you are out of lives you sit down) which I learned is super fun! Once Buckley was there, we still had Pape's car, so we used that to drive back down to Syracue. We were told that we were going to be giving it to the sisters, so I called them up and asked them to meet up with us to give them it. They were like, "Was it approved by Elder Graves?" I didn't know it needed to be approved, the Zone Leaders just told me to do it lol. I called up Elder Graves, he told us to drive back up to the mission office because he has a different car he wants for the sisters. So we started making the 30 min drive back to mission office whence we came. When we almost got there, Elder Berg called us and told us that we didn't need to exchange the cars. So then we did a U-turn and went back and gave the car to the sister's... sooo much time wasted!
For the rest of the day, just tried to get him to meet all the bishop's and Ward Mission Leaders.

Thursday: We had Zone Study, which part of it included throwing water balloons at our Zone Leaders lol. For how many people we had with a date, that is how many balloons we got. So we got 5! That's a lot haha.
After Lunch just contacted Bishop's and Ward Mission Leaders.
We had dinner with the Bell's, we played Carcassone with them. I love that game soo much! I know Jared has played it, but has anyone else?
More contacting after Dinner

Friday: We had a lesson in the morning with Art and Jacee, they are soo ready to be baptized, we could have easily baptized them the next day. The thing that is holding them up is the ex-wife, she is not letting Jacee be baptized for some reason unknown. Sad :( Art smoked some Salmon that morning, and he gave me some.... SOOOO GOOD! haha. We had weekly planning, Elder Buckley isn't a bad companion at all. Of course sometimes he is annoying, but he really a good guy, and he wants to improve the area.
We then had to get stuff ready for baptism tomorrow, we failed at getting Johnny Mitipok to go get his marriage license, so Julianna is not able to be baptized this week :( However, Norman and Tom are looking as Golden as ever :) We had to get suits, make sure baptismal programs are getting made and whatnot. Getting 2 baptisms on their way I learned is very stressful. I was undergoing a lot stress, also because I am just wnating to not spend my time on this stuff, I want to go and contact referrals and what not!

Saturday: We had service in the morning helping with yard work, we were trying to get a stump out of the ground, which we learned is a lot more difficult than it looks, we spent 1 and a half hours on it but wasn't able to get it out. We had a to leave to go fill up the Font for Tom's baptism, the font takes 2 hours to fill. Tom's baptism was so great though! A huge turn out, and his stepdaughters whom are serving their missions in South Carolina and Georgia were able to skype in to see him be baptized! It was so cool. Teresa was dang happy about that lol. We had 18 missionaries there at the baptism, many of them whom had helped with Tom when they were in this area. President Hiers was there to, he is such a cool mission president :)
Norman's baptism was definitely on the smaller side. I mean all his family lives in Nigeria, so they weren't necessarily able to come out haha. He was super tall though, the water only came up to mid-thigh, I didn't think they would be able to do it first try, but they did crazily haha. I learned afterwards that Norman wants to serve a mission. He is 23 now, but he wants to serve a mission as soon as he can :) So cool!

Sunday: We were able to sleep until 6:30 on a Sunday! Because it was Father's Day, all of the meetings that we usually have were cancelled. We went to go and see Tom get confirmed. In his blessing, it included on how he was going to prepare to serve a full time mission with his wife. That is super cool too! :) They would make an awesome senior couple!! Norman's confirmation was really cool to, bishop had him bear his testimony afterwards, and he has such a strong testimony :)
We had dinner over at the Knight's, we played pictionary some, and had fajitas. I could tell the family wasn't in very good harmony though. Their daughter Liz seemed pretty out of it, and Jimmy (Father) and Shirley (Mom) are going through some things, and not living together currently. It's really sad. I received a really strong prompting from the spirit, "You need to help this family!" I heard it loud and clear. They are out of town next week, however I got all of their numbers, and I've been keeping in contact with them. I have talked a lot with Liz, and she has been going through a lot of depression, but she has no relationship with God, so I have been helping her with that. I have also been making sure they have family prayer and scripture every night. I love the Knights so much, they are really close friends.

Monday: We had a lesson scheduled with a Potential Investigator at 1:30, Simspon and I found him just knocking on a door we were prompted to knock on. However he is YSA age, so I gave that lesson to the YSA missionaries. They later told me that he was golden and that they set him to be baptized on the 5th on July., they were really thankful for me giving them that lesson. It made me feel super good though, someone that we found getting baptized. I have been such a wimp lately, whenever someone comes to church after a super long time, or I hear some really good things happening to people I know, I get watery eyes, because I just love it so much!
Well, that was my week. A very stressful one, but transfer weeks are always stressful from what I hear. I think we did pretty good.
Love you!
Elder Wrathall

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

And that made it 5 times in a row having pizza for dinner.

Yep! I got my keyboard, and I gave the old one to Simpson, Simpson figured out how to work the old one, it is really annoying, you lightly tap the space bar and it works, but he is very grateful for it. Mine works perfectly! I am not getting transferred, however, Simpson is :( Sad day, he is going to Tremonton, up North. We used a shovel to get the spiders in. That's cool with all the mission calls! It is crazy that if Melissa left right now, she would still get home before me! Weird! That is crazy to think Addison is 8! I wish I could have been there!
Well onto the week.

Tuesday: Paint Balling!! Super fun! Was a lot better than doing it in the snow. I was able to see this time. After P-day we had a lesson with the Bowdens, whom is a super fun family, however, they are less active, and they aren't keeping commitments such as reading the scriptures, or praying. Lame! I really wish they would! Then we just had contacting the rest of the day.

Wednesday: We had District Meeting, I did a training on "increasing people's desire to meet with us". It was the training I requested, so he turned it around on me and said, "would you like to give that training?" Lol, so I did, and it works, I feel like I learned a lot more than those whom I was training. We had a lesson with Norman, we taught him the commandments, and he was all gun hoe for that! So we set his baptism for the 11th. A Wednesday, which is also transfer day, so whoever is getting transferred in the area gets that baptism straight off. Lucky guy lol. We also had a lesson with Tom, he is still golden for the 14th, we just read Joseph Smith History with him. That was his first time, so he learned a ton, it was great!

Thursday: We had an inspection for our apartment in the morning. We passed! We had lots of cleaning to do before hand though... Lol. After that we did Service for the Knights. We moved a lot of furniture around,  they were getting rid of a desk, and we need a desk. So we need to swing by sometime to get it lol. We also had a baptismal interview with one of our investigators, Julianna, I don't think I have told you, but she doesn't speak English, so it was super hard to teach her stuff, she speaks chekaneese of something like that. So at the interview, they had a translator, and she failed!! That's the first time I have heard of, but we set up a time on Wednesday to try again because she just didn't really understand the questions. They are not able to get baptized this week though. Johnny, her husband still smokes, and we have been trying to get him to stop, I don't really know how! He doesn't really seem to have a desire to stop. Simpson and I were told by our Zone Leaders, if you soak cigarettes in milk, the. Let them dry for 24 hours, then have them smoke it, they will feel super sick, and they throw up, and after that, whenever they smoke they get that feeling again. The hard part about that is getting cigarettes, we got two, but when I was taking them out of the milk, they ripped in half, so I need to get more. But of course we wouldn't buy them lol.

Friday: Normal, somewhat boring, except for the lesson with Julianna, so we had the interview again, and I went in there knowing that she wont be able to be baptized the next day, because she doesn't have her marriage certificate. However, Elder Muntigah, tells her she can be baptized if she doesn't live with her husband, and she said sure, I'll do it, and he was fine with it as well. So here I am, Oh crap, I'm going to have to do everything for this baptism in literally 14 hours. That is super crazy! However, her brother got in in the conversation and he said that they need to wait next week. Lame... That would have been cool.

Saturday: We had service in the morning, I packed boxes in a garage. All of our lessons fell through. Had burnt Pizza for dinner. And that made it 5 times in a row having pizza for dinner. Yep/... that's about it haha

Sunday: We had to go on splits to make it to the meetings, and we also went to two different sacraments, it is kind of weird not to be sitting with Simpson at sacrament. Everybody kept asking, where is your companion! I sat with the Knights family. We had Elder Pape get dropped off with us at night, because his companion already left for home in the Philippines (Mom, spell that for me! lol) I did with the help of spell check. So we get a threesome until transfers!

Monday: So Simpson was at Leadership training, so he was away from 11:00 to 6:00. So Elder Pape and I sacked out and played Risk all day.... Haha, JK!!!! However, all of our lessons did fall through :( Something super cool though is that we got senior couples in our area, their name is the Evertsens. They are super ready to work, this will be their third mission together, so they are well seasoned. They we're asking us like what more can we do to help, I was just like, "I don't know! I'm not used to this! lol" So it will be fun working with them. We stopped by the Murphy's, they have the Rottweilers... Have I talked about that before? I don't know. lol. but they have a female and male Rottweilers, and they had puppies so they are super cute! And they are super nice! I always thought that they were super mean. Now I kind of want to get  a Rottweiler when I am out on my own. Also, they are less active, so we aren't just wasting our time petting their dogs lol. Robi took Pape and I out for Dinner, to get Gyros! Yummm!!! When Simpson  got back he knew that he was leaving and going up to Tremonton, so we started making the rounds to say goodbye to everybody. Sad! At the end we had a family home evening with the Zone. We went to a bishop's home that was super cool, they have everything in their yard, Giant swing, fire pit, stream, peacocks, ect. and we found out where everyone is going. I am staying in Syracuse, with Elder Buckley! We went back to our apartment and played games lol.
Well hope you have a good week!
Love,

Super awesome, sweet delicious brownie of a day!

Transfers is next week! Crazy how fast time goes by! I have not gotten the keyboard. The request takes 7-9 buissness days to be approved, then 5-7 days to ship. yeah... Long time. Good news is I don't need to return the one that is faulty. That is super cool about the motorcycle being sold! I saw on facebook! I guess I should get him a good father's day gift huh... lol
I don't think that the Elders will be able to help with the open house. I am pretty sure only sisters get to do that... Sexist! It just means that it is more important for the Elder's to be out in the field :P haha.

Okay onto the week!
Tuesday: Zone Sports! We started off playing softball, however, some park people kicked us off the field because they had prepared the field for a game latter that night. But we ended up playing beach volleyball, which I like a lot better anyways. Haha. After P-day we had dinner with our Stake President, his wife made delicious chicken and salad. Then we had a meeting with the stake auxiliaries. And our lesson fell through... Yay.

Wednesday: We had DM, but afterwards we did some service weeding. We had another companionship help us out with it. Early on we saw a ton of spiders, so us, being the boys that we are started catching them and putting them in a jar. At the end of the service project, we had like 12 spiders all in one jar. It was pretty crazy. None of us wanted to take them home though. We thought about going to a less active house, knocking on the door and releasing the spiders on the door, so when they came, all the spiders would get in. However, after long consideration, we didn't think Jesus Christ would do something like that :( We just let them go.
We had like 6 lessons scheduled for the night, however 4 of them fell through. Lame!

Thursday: So right across from our place is a Hawaiian shaved ice place... Super delicious place haha, they also give us discounts, so with that combination, we have been going there pretty often. Haha. We also have only paid  once out of the three times that we have been there because other people want to pay for us. What nice people! They have tons of flavors, my favorite thus far is, Lychee and Pomegranate.

Friday: We had a lesson at 10am, which is the earliest I have ever had a lesson, so that was pretty weird. We were setting expectations from him. We asked, "What do you expect from meeting with us" His response, "Well I want to give you a story that you can tell your friends..." We were pretty sure he was high lol. Later after weekly planning, we had service with the Knight's family, which really just turned into a water fight, but it was super fun. Then we had 5 lessons in the evening, all went through :) We were astonished by that fact.

Saturday: Super awesome, sweet delicious brownie of a day! We had speedball in the morning with the zone, then did some service landscaping a yard for a less active. She made us yummy sandwiches for payment lol. So we had 0 lessons planned for the day, but during making some visits, we were able to stop by some people and they weren't busy so we just had a lesson with them and there. The best one was with a non-member, who we were trying to meet with for a really long time, and she has always just been busy, so we kinda gave up on her. But, we had a promoting to swing by, even though it had been a month since the last time that we had contacted them. What do ya know! She is free to talk, so we got to know her, and she is completely golden. Like she was thinking right before we came over, "Where are those elder's whom used to come by." And when she had thought that, we knocked at the door, the very second lol. She has also had a very positive expire cues with the church. Her dad about a year ago had been baptized, and he used to be an alcoholic and mean to her, but ever since he had been baptized, he has been a lot better guy. So she just wanted to know what is about the church that made him so different. We invited her to be baptized, she did say no. But I think that was good, because her reasoning for not being baptized is because she doesn't know enough. She wants to be sincere about baptism. Super cool! We have another meeting with her on Monday.

Sunday: Just a ton of meetings, and the most difficult lesson in the world. We taught a less active, and boy was she a talker. Every question that we asked she would take 20 min to talk about. Even when I tried to make the question specific to a yes or no. It did not work! She also said, "you know..." soo much!! I counted and she averaged 8 times a sentence, almost every other word, and about 25 times a minute. I seriously wanted to just die. It was soo difficult being in there for an hour and a half. Elder Simpson during it said that he needed to use the restroom, and after the lesson he said that he didn't really, he just wanted a break. Lol.

Monday: Our lesson with Rose, (investigator picked up on Saturday) fell through :( We did service in the morning, helped plant some tree's. There were two young guys there, about 23 years old helping us. They were friends, and one of them was a non-member, but he was deployed in Afghanistan, and went through a lot of war. But he played off killing people like it was no big deal, and he talked about like self defense here in the states, and how he would have no problem killing someone who tried to rob him. One of his sentences were, "You slice his jugular just enough where he bleeds out slowly, so his friends come to help him, and you kill them to." So Simpson and I were just like, oh man, this guy is homicidal! He is just going to kill everyone lol. However, at the end of the service, he told us that he was actually a member, pretending to be a crazy guy, it was super funny.

Well thanks for the email! Hope you have a wonderful week. Love you!
Byeeeeeeeeeeee!
